The University of Music Wuerzburg is a modern institution of training and education with a long tradition. Our entry into the cyber-world allows us to offer information regarding our rich, extensive and diversified studies as well as interesting information about our institution.
To date (summer period 2009), 597 students are enrolled at our University of Music. Therein, 27 students are originally from countries belonging to the EU and 139 from other countries. In addition there are 14 visiting students and 74 children and teenagers who are part of our advancement training for highly skilled children and youths. Seven of them are originally from countries belonging to the EU, six of them were born in non-european countries.
There are three modern buildings within close proximity of one-another housing the teaching, research and musical education faculties. All of which are close to the downtown area of Würzburg .
The university offers something for every music-lover. Numerous public concerts allow insight into the performances of young artists as they develop their abilities and enthusiasm. One can also simply enjoy wonderful music, from baroque to contemporary, from classical to jazz, from opera to musical theatre
