Insurance

a) Health insurance: as determined by the commencement of the policy on students' health insurance (KVSG), all students of public universities (Hochschulen) must have health insurance. This applies also to students who are doing an internship as part of their degree programmes (Praktikanten).

b) Accident insurance:
On the basis of Par. 2, Article 1, number 8c of the Sozialgesetzbuch VII, all students are insured against accidents that occur in connection with their attendance at the University during the course of their degree programmes or continuing education.
