Preparation courses for the entrance examination

As preparation for the entrance examinations the Landesverband Bayerischer Tonkünstler e.V. in Würzburg offers courses on the following:

  • Basic music theory 
  • Aural training, harmony and counterpoint 
  • Instrumental lessons and consultation

Exemption from parts of the entrance examination

If it can be proven, on the basis of the admissions material and documents, that the applicant can be placed in the fifth semester of the prospective degree programme, then the applicant must take only the entrance examination for his major. Under these circumstances, the applicant must not apply for an exemption. If the major is EMP, then the applicant must also take an exam in his/her secondary major.
