Office Communication in English - Basic Course (ohne Vorkenntnisse)

Sie möchten sich gerne in einfachen Sätzen auf Englisch mit internationalen Kolleginnen und Kollegen verständigen können? Sie suchen nach einer Möglichkeit erste tätigkeitsbezogene Englischkenntnisse zu erwerben? In diesem Kurs lernen Sie die wichtigsten grammatischen Grundlagen und bauen einen Basiswortschatz auf. Außerdem lernen Sie weitere Möglichkeiten des Spracherwerbs kennen und entwickeln anhand von Übungen mit Beispielen aus Ihrem Arbeitsalltag Zutrauen in die eigene Sprachfertigkeit. Für die Teilnahme an diesem Kurs benötigen Sie keine Englisch-Kenntnisse.

Office Communication in English - Lower Intermediate Course (Level A2-B1)

This course is designed for English language learners who have successfully completed the "Office Communication in English - Basic Course" or who already have some experience communicating in English. In this course, participants will learn how to better handle common workplace scenarios. Course topics will primarily focus on communicating professionally in English, improving listening comprehension, and extending work-related vocabulary. Specific topics are flexible based on the participants' workplace needs and interests.

This course will incorporate the e-learning platform WueCampus which the instructor will use to share relevant course material and helpful resources. By the end of the course, participants will be able to handle different workplace communication situations and express themselves well in English.
This course will be held mostly in English. Participants should command an intermediate level of English proficiency, corresponding to level A2 or B1 of the Common European Framework of References for Languages (CEFR).

Office Communication in English - Upper Intermediate Course (Level B1-B2)

This course is designed for participants who have successfully completed the "Office Communication in English - Intermediate Course" in previous semesters and for all English language learners who frequently communicate in English in the workplace. Participants registering for this course should already be able to express themselves in familiar workplace contexts. Course topics will include reading and writing emails, communicating effectively on the telephone, improving listening comprehension, but also expressing ideas and opinions, and communicating more fluently with English-speaking students, professors, and guests. However, topics are flexible based on the participants' specific workplace needs and interests.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to handle different workplace communication situations and express themselves more clearly and precisely in English.
This course will incorporate the e-learning platform WueCampus which the instructor will use to share relevant course material and helpful resources.
This course will be held in English. Participants should command an upper intermediate level of English proficiency, corresponding to level B1 or B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

English Conversation – Lower Advanced Course (Level B2-C1)

This course is designed for advanced English language learners who are already comfortable speaking English but who would like to improve their oral communication skills and overall fluency in English. In a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, we will focus on improving speaking and listening skills for the workplace through discussions, role plays, and other communication activities. We will watch videos to become more familiar with various dialects of the English language and will work on vocabulary-building, common idioms and expressions, and advanced grammar topics as necessary.

This course will cover many topics such as workplace scenarios, socializing, travel, and current events, but is flexible based on the participants' needs and interests. Participants will be able to express themselves in English more clearly, confidently, and spontaneously by the end of the course.
This course will incorporate the e-learning platform WueCampus which the instructor will use to share relevant course material and helpful resources.
This course will be held in English. Participants should command an intermediate or higher level of English proficiency, corresponding to level B2 or C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
