Follow the workflow step by step and finally confirm the submission.

Applications that arrive after the deadline and/or are incomplete will not be considered.

Selection procedure

The entire selection process can take several weeks. We will inform the ERASMUS+ coordinators and applicants via the EASY portal by mid-June at the latest whether we can offer a study place for the desired length of stay. Applicants who have been accepted for an ERASMUS+ place should also confirm this via EASY Mobiity Online by the end of June at the latest. Please cancel your ERASMUS place in good time if you have decided on a study place at another university.

Course offer

Students who are interested in an ERASMUS+ stay at the University of Music Würzburg should inform themselves in detail about the courses offered by the university before applying.

Explanation of course selection

In order to obtain sufficient ECTS credits (30 per semester), you must complete a study plan when applying via EASY Mobility Online. The PDF file above is divided into three modules:

1. green module: Here you can earn at least 18 ECTS by choosing a core subject (14 ECTS). You then have the option of choosing the supplementary core subject (see list). For percussion, for example, you can choose Prima Vista or Improvisation and receive 2 ECTS. Piano can be chosen as a second instrument for all main instruments, for which you will also receive 2 ECTS. At the end of the semester, you will therefore receive at least 18 ECTS credits for this module.

2nd yellow module: You can play in various ensembles (see yellow table) and receive 2 ECTS for each participation in ensembles. You can receive at least 4 ECTS for this module.

3rd beige module: For most courses you will need German language skills (at least B2). However, there are many courses in the area of "Music and Health", e.g. (Alexander Technique, Yoga), for which no knowledge of German is required.

German lessons are only offered at our university if we have enough participants with level A1/A1. If you are interested in a beginners' course, please note this in your study plan when applying.

The language of instruction at the University of Music Würzburg is German. Individual lessons in the core musical subject and in smaller groups can also be held in English by arrangement.
