Daniela Ruck

Daniela Ruck works as a teacher for special tasks at the HfM Würzburg in the field of elementary music education, specialising in voice, as well as in instrumental pedagogy.
As a qualified musician in guitar and qualified music teacher in the subjects of singing, elementary music education and guitar, she has extensive artistic and pedagogical expertise and more than twenty years of teaching experience.

From 2022 - 2024, Daniela Ruck was involved in the design of the new music education Master's programmes for EMP, Inclusive Music Education, Community Music and Vocal Music Practice. Since the winter semester 2024/25, she has been teaching vocal music practice and is responsible for didactics and children's voice training. Together with Prof. Michael Forster, she directs the EMP children's choir.
She is also a lecturer at the Department of Music Education at the Otto-Friedrich-University in Bamberg, where she regularly organises the project ‘Overcoming boundaries with music and project in collaboration with the Don Bosco youth organisation in Bamberg.
Daniela Ruck is involved in the working group for elementary music education and is a member of the of the Community Music Network and the Tonkünstlerverband Bayern e. V.
She specialises in elementary music practice, singing in kindergarten and primary school, relative solmisation solmisation, as well as instrumental group lessons, is in demand as a lecturer in further training programmes, including the Association of Bavarian Singing and Music Schools, the Tonkünstlerverband Bayern e. V., the Bund Deutscher Zupfmusiker Landesverband Bayern e. V., the Bamberg Singing Circle, etc.

She is part of the ensemble Fado Sul and gives the Portuguese Fado, which she ‘groundbreakingly (Süddeutsche Zeitung), with her expressive voice a special authenticity and emotional depth.

From 2002 to 2012, Daniela Ruck studied guitar (Prof. Jürgen Ruck), singing (Prof. Martin Hummel) and elementary music education (Prof. Barbara Metzger) at the University of Music in Würzburg and at the Conservatorio Superior de Música - Manuel Castillo in Seville (Antonio Duro and Juan Sancho). She also received significant artistic impulses through lessons with Gordana Crnkovic (free breath - free sound) and Oscar Ghiglia (guitar). She completed her studies with an artistic pedagogical in elementary music education, singing and guitar as well as an artistic artistic diploma in guitar. After a postgraduate artistic study programme, she was awarded a concert diploma in guitar at the University of Music Würzburg for her outstanding artistic artistic achievements.
